Good day. Today's video Forgive and Forget is on the topic of: Forgiveness and forgetfulness. When we sincerely seek forgiveness for sin through our Lord Jesus Christ, our heavenly Father is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from unrighteousness, as well as forget the sin ever happened (Isaiah 43:25). We have a forgetful Father; it is Satan who reminds us of our sin, which we too have to learn to forgive and forget as well. This is the blessing of the forgiveness of God. However, without the shedding of blood (cutting off of the flesh, the old nature, dieing to sin), there is no remission (forgiveness). You cannot be saved and continue in sin, you have to overcome sin by the leading and guiding of the Spirit of Christ within you, otherwise the consequence will be the Lord saying, "I never knew you, depart from me you worker of iniquity." When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior your name was written in the book of life, and if you keep his sayings and overcome the world within you, you will never see death (be subject to the second death Revelation 20:12-15). You have to begin in the Spirit and endure unto the end in the Spirit. However, if you do not keep his sayings and do not continue to live a godly life apart from the world and its ways, you may find out that you have been forgotten, your name blotted out of the book of life, because of the sin of unbelief in keeping, guarding, partaking, of his words of spirit and life unto the end. You cannot be blotted out of something if you were not already written there in the first place. Church, you may have walked into the kingdom of God, and no man can pluck you out of God's hand, but guess what, you can certainly walk out on your own as well; God does not violate our free will. It is your choice to continue in the forgiveness and forgetfulness of God, but you also have a choice to be forgotten if you continue in sin. Choose you this day whom you will serve; the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, or the god of your fathers. God bless and keep the faith. Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Today's video Reconcile is on the topic of being reconciled to God by Jesus Christ that we might be counted worthy to partake of the marriage feast of the Lamb of God. 2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; (KJV) We are a living example, a ministry, of the reconciliation that happened in our own lives; that now in Christ we have peace and fellowship restored with God through his Son. Now the light of the glorious gospel of Christ shining in our hearts, giving forth the knowledge of God in the face of Jesus Christ, being ready to give an answer to every man who asks a reason of the hope that is within us. Salvation is a plan of eternal reconciliation. We have been cleansed with the washing of the Word being reconciled in preparation for the marriage feast of the Lamb and given a garment of righteousness. Now it is up to each of us to keep our garment unspotted from the world; that includes from our own righteousness, again, which is as a filthy rag. Now Christ is our righteousness and without him we cannot stand clean before God the Father nor partake of the marriage feast of the Lamb. 1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV) Galatians 3:26-27 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (KJV) If we don’t come before the throne clothed in the righteousness of God, which is Christ, then we will not be considered one of his; and will be cast out into utter darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Which means that we will not be partaking of the marriage feast of the Lamb (read Revelation 19:7-9). 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. (KJV) Read: Ephesians 5:23-32 (Illustrating Christ and the Church) Matthew 22:1-14 (The parable of the marriage feast) So dearly loved, where do you desire to be in the end? Will it be in clean white linen, the wedding garment, partaking of the marriage feast of the Lamb of God, or will it be in filthy rags because you allowed your clean garment that you were given at the reconciliation to become spotted by the world? 1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (KJV)
From the beginning the enemy of the Lord has been described as a serpent, sneaky and subtle, slithering around until it bites you with its deadly venom. Now you have the ability to stomp on his head before that happens; we have the spirit of Christ within us, the power and wisdom of God, to be more than conquerors. Revelation 2:9-11 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10 Fear none of those things which thou shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. 11 He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death. (KJV) When you read the first 3 chapters of Revelation it is very explicit that those who are going to escape the tribulation period that is soon to take place are the ones that are over comers and not being overcome by the serpents and scorpions. Take note of the warning given in the last sentence and the fact we are all still subject to the second death, otherwise it wouldn’t say so. Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (KJV) The second death is the one you really want to avoid and that is the reason why God sent His Son to pay the price for us. The second death is spiritual and lasts for eternity, because it separates man from the only true source of life. Revelation 20:12-15 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead who were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV) Spiritually dead people are the ones that are subject to this death sentence, because as you notice it is according to their works, but you as a believer should know better and there is no excuse not to be an over comer. Revelation 21:7-8 He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (KJV) Some of the feel good, ear tickling doctrines of man try to tell people that once they get saved they’ve got it made. The enemy loves to see this promoted because it is his way of lulling the people of God back to sleep so that they will walk right into his deadly trap.
